Target Triangle
Work backwards. Build forwards.
Target Triangle turns a big goal into a practical route. Start with the outcome, work backwards through the prerequisites and supporting tasks, then work forwards through the plan until the target is reached.
What it does
Start with the target
Define the end result first instead of beginning with a random to-do list.
Build the main route backwards
Break the target into numbered main steps, then identify what must be in place before each step can happen.
Add prerequisites and support
Keep supporting tasks attached to the step they enable so the plan stays connected to the real objective.
Switch between views
Use the focused Triangle view when working on one route, or the full Overview when you need to see the entire project.
Run multiple projects
Projects remain separate, with their own steps, progress and project files.
AI-assisted project setup
Use the built-in AI Instructions workflow to create a structured project file from a target and current position, then import it into the app.
Backup and restore
Export project data for safekeeping and restore it later instead of trapping the plan on one screen.
Install like an app
Target Triangle is built as an installable web app for quick access from a phone, tablet or computer.

Why it exists
Most task lists start with whatever is immediately in front of you. Target Triangle starts with the result you actually want, then reasons backwards to expose the work that has to happen first. The aim is not to create more administration. It is to stop important prerequisites hiding until they become expensive surprises.
