1. Business setup

Set the details that appear on shared quotes. This is saved on this device.
Business setup saved. Tap “Edit setup” if you need to change it.
Backup / transfer setup
Save your business setup and catalogue as a file, then load it on another phone, tablet or computer. This does not store anything on Nexus servers.
Tip: save the file to iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or your device downloads folder, then load it on the other device.

2. Customer details

Enter the customer first, then build the quote against those details.

3. Catalogue

Select products for this quote. To change saved products or prices, use Manage catalogue.

Quick catalogue editor

Fast backroom pricing sheet. Edit item names, cost prices and retail prices only. Use the full catalogue editor for images, units, descriptions, deleting products and detailed changes.

Catalogue edit mode

You are editing the saved product catalogue. These changes affect future quotes. They do not edit only the current quote.

4. Build quote

Tap products from the catalogue, then enter the quantities. Calculation is quantity × retail price.

5. Saved quotes

Save the current quote on this device, then reload it later to edit or share again.

6. Review quote

This default view is client-safe. Costs and profit stay hidden unless you press the internal figures button.

Create the PDF quote first, then send it by email, WhatsApp or message from your device.

How to use NQB

  1. Enter the customer details.
  2. Start a new quote from your catalogue.
  3. Select products and enter quantities.
  4. Review the quote total.
  5. Save the quote if you want to edit it later.
  6. Share, message or copy the quote when ready.

Backup & transfer

Your business setup, catalogue and saved quotes are stored on this device. Use the backup option in Business Setup to save your setup file and load it onto another device.

Where are my quotes stored?
Saved quotes are stored on the device/browser you are using. Nexus Quote Builder does not send them to a Nexus server.
How do I edit catalogue prices quickly?
Open Business Setup, then use Quick Catalogue Editor for item names, cost prices and retail prices. Use Full Catalogue Editor for images, descriptions, units and detailed catalogue changes.
What happens if I clear setup and catalogue?
This removes the business setup, catalogue, current customer details and current quote from this device after a second confirmation.
Can I reload and edit a quote later?
Yes. Save the current quote, then open Saved Quotes and use Load & Edit.
